Industrial Visit of GNA Business School @ NIT Jalandhar

GNA Business School organized an industrial visit to Technology Business Incubator (TBI) Centre, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar. Technology Business Incubator (TBI) has been established at Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar with the support of Department of Science and Technology. TBI has been registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 with the name ‘NITJ Technology Business Incubator’. NITJ Technology Business Incubator has a separate Board of Governors for laying down the policies and procedures so as to govern the activities for better working towards achieving its objectives.

The objective of the visit was to explore the TBI Centre at NIT Jalandhar and various start-ups founded by the students and Institute,Mr. Shibananda Dash, CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of TBI NITJ also delivered a session on Entrepreneurship to the enthusiastic students.Various faculty members and research scholars presented their start-up models to the students.This visit helpedthe students to learnand gain basic knowledge of the Business Start-ups and Entrepreneurship.

This was an experiential and productive visit, which emphasised engagement, interaction, and practice and students got specialised knowledge from expertsregarding Technology Business Incubator Centre and start-ups.

Gurdeep Singh Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor, GNA University thanked the Team for taking the initiative of taking the students to Incubation Centre. He said, “Such visits act as an eye opener and learning experience for such talented students.”
